    Aluminium kick plates are the most cost effective in our range. Aluminium is a fantastic material for kick plates as they are lightweight but with good strength. Aluminium is also environmentally friendly as its 100% recyclable. With all these benefits its no wonder aluminium is the most popular material for kick plates.

  • Why 5 Bar Aluminium Tread Kick Plates?

    5 bar tread plate is also commonly referred to as chequer/checker plate. They are strong and lightweight with a raised pattern to prevent slipping. Possibly the most durable kick plate in our range they are designed to withstand heavy traffic and high impact. Often used in industrial applications where trolleys regularly crash into the plates they are superb door protectors.

  • What size kick plate do i need?

    Our kick plates come in a variety of heights and lengths suited to your specific needs. We recommend you take the width of your door and minus approximately 50mm. Try and remember not to order your door width instead. If the plate goes the full length of the door it may hinder the opening and closing.

  • Can you make them to different shapes and styles?

    Sure. We often make kick plates to customers bespoke specifications. Just let us know what it is you are looking for.

  • Can you make them with cut outs?

    We can. Often times we are asked to produce kick plates with cut outs for handles, locks, vision panels and windows etc.

  • What options are available for the corners?

    We currently have 2 options. Square corners which is supplied as standard. Or with 12mm radius corners as an optional upgrade.

  • Can you put extra or fewer holes in there?

    Yes. Just let us know how many holes and where you want them placing on the kick plate and we can make you a quotation.

  • Are they easy to fit?

    Yes. Very easy. Our kick plates come with matching fixing screws.

  • Can you supply with anti tamper or security screws?

    Yes. We can offer security screws as an optional extra.

  • Will they have smooth edges?

    Absolutely. We take the linishing/deburring of our kick plates very seriously. A lot of our products are specified in hospitals and schools. We understand how important it is to fit safe kick plates.

  • How are they packed?

    The kick plates are supplied bulk packed with a PVC film to prevent the face of the kick plate from scratching during transit and installation. As soon as the kick plates are fitted simply peel off the film to reveal the finish.

  • Do you offer discounts for bulk purchases?

    Yes. If your order is for 100 kick plates or more at the same time you qualify for a 10% discount.

  • What is your cutting tolerance?

    All our kick plates are guillotine cut therefore we allow a cutting tolerance of +/- 5mm. If the accuracy of your kick plates is important then please let our sales team know for a bespoke quotation.

  • Can kick plates rust?

    Although there is no guarantee against stainless steel kick plates rusting you can take the proper precautions to keep those kick plates looking nice. We recommend cleaning the kick plates every couple of weeks with warm soapy water. We recommend our stainless steel cleaning kit for the stainless steel kick plates. Its also advisable to choose the premium range of kick plates if you believe the kick plates are to be fitted near the coast or in a high chlorine area for example swimming pools.

  • What happens if my shipment is damaged?

    If your product gets damaged in transit, you can email us with the details along with a picture of the damage attached. We will act swiftly to rectify the issue once the email has been reviewed.

  • Can I return the kick plates if they are not needed?

    As all our products are made to order, we're sorry to say that we do not accept returns.

  • Pricing

    Product prices on the website are shown exclusive of VAT. VAT is added to the final total.

  • What is your privacy policy?

    We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties

  • What is your refund / Cancellation Policy?

    As these goods are made to order we are sorry to say they cannot be returned. You can cancel your order unto 24 hours after making payment. After this the goods will be in production and cannot be cancelled.
